❤ Happy Moon Cake Festival Everyone ❤
I am grateful:
To have a tight bond ❤ with my entire family tree & really appreciate it. I mean we meet at-least 3 times a week. On some Thursdays: Hit the morning market of OUG, Saturday: Drop by cousie's house, Sunday: Breakfast or Dinner together.
Maybe its because we live like SO FREAKING NEAR each other. Entire mafia family in Bandar Puteri. Minus Grandma from OUG.
I heard some of my friends only reunite with long lost cousin or Unc, Aunts, Pops, Gramps like only on special occasions (only Chinese New Year or Chinese Reunion day or Dong Zhi - a.k.a Round ball Day....wait...that doesn't sound right...Round-ball-peanut-filled-sometimes-redbean-greenbean-stuffed Day. Yup! Better❤ ).
The great & weird thing is we celebrate just about anything we can think of or came straight out of the holidays from the calendar chart. Heck, even Hari Raya (The period of Annual Family Trip where we travel together), Halloween & Christmas.
Yea.Cut Crap & pixy time:
We left candle trails, like Hansel and Gretel left bread crumbs as a guide to return home. But seriously Hansel & Gretel are bit of a crackpot. It's common sense that you need to eat the bread if you are lost in the woods.
Oh ya, & umm we left candle trails on trees too..so that makes us crackpots too. My sincere apologies.
I was sporting the WTF eye face so I thought it was appropriate if I censored it out to protect your liver. Over excessive vomiting may damage your vital organ. You can thank me later.
Earlier that day,
Sort of half kacau-ing & half helping mum. Learnt how to cook new dish from mum again. Woots! Made Yong To Fu. Mum' s a great cook & baker. Our proud family's chef ❤. *Sigh*... Please let me inherit that..please let me inherit that...
My sad attempt to manja-manja-ing. Tee hee..
Cooking In Process:
The 'raw' ingredients stuffed with raw fresh fish paste looks like cuddly squishy play thing. Got the urge to squash the life out of it but will risk getting 10 slaps from mum. I changed my mind.
Yong Tao Fu is Served:
*Slurp* !!! Ain't it delicious looking?? ❤ Haha can open stall already. It taste real good too (other family members praised my mum even the Head Chef- my grandma-) Hoho!.

Steaming Hot Yong Tao Fu. The main dish.
I'm not sure if Muffin is getting smarter. He changed his usual spot from just where the door mat supposed to be to avoid being stepped on. Either that or he wants us to throw him some veges.
Or he has another identity crisis where he thinks he is a dog now (previously he thinks he is a fur carpet) loyally guarding the door.
A beautiful paranormal shoot of the lanterns that we played that night ❤ .
It was incredibly beautiful with all the candle flickering under the moon light!
OMG! we have a bunny name Muffin as well! wat a coincidence! =D

ReplyDeletethe mooncake festival and lantern festival is it on the same date?
ReplyDeleteit's also referred to as mid autumn festival, where you eat moon cake +play candles+ lanterns. The main thing is family & friends reunion. No fixed rules, so we celebrated within the week. but 22 September is the official date though. =)
